Nanjing - First Race in China - 10 Years in Asia (2009)

When I came to China and settled my base in Nanjing I bought myself a hybrid bicycle from Giant. So at least I could cycle around the city. And it was also a good opportunity to know the biking scene. Florian sent me my Scott Ransom from Switzerland later to Nanjing. I had to fix my disc from the brakes, as they where bent. In the bike store I got to know also, there was a cross country race in Nanjing. Of course i had to go! I went there, and signed up for individual and team race! The course was mainly on the road held. I meet also Glenn and other foreigner they lived in Shanghai. After a quick talk I participate in a downhill race in Nanjing, which was organised from Lansli. It was indeed a good feeling to be back on the bike after so long traveling and not riding a bike. I was also riding a bit road bike with other foreigners in Nanjing (Bryan, David and Mike). I was also trying to get somehow hands for working on taking pictures, so i got the opportunity to do a shooting with some girls. But that was it. My skills work after the shooting on photoshop where none! Which is really required here in China. Mostly you can’t see from the original photo after edited the photo that they are the same person.
