Nanjing - Shanghai - 10 Years in Asia (2010)

My friend Matt introduced me to a coffeeshop called 3 coffee, which were also selling secondhand cameras. He bought himself a Seagull twin lens camera. Shanghai Seagull Camera Ltd is a Chinese camera maker located in Shanghai, China. Seagull is the oldest camera maker in China. He lent me quite often his camera so i could do some pictures with it. Very fascinating to take pictures with this camera, as everything is manual, no electronics, no light meter. Matt was also so kind and developed the film rolls for me. Everything was a process to know the camera, to know what film rolls we should buy, and he was taking exactly notes how he developed the film rolls. Go out and try was the motto. Sometimes I double exposure a frame, as I was not loading it to a new frame. And the camera it self had also some problems, always we had this scratches on the film rolls. Well it was nice to try out this twin lens camera, later I bought myself also one.
